Giovanni Lombardi has successfully obtained his PhD today, following the defense of his doctoral thesis at University of Rome Tor Vergata.
The thesis, titled “Multi-Physics and Multi-Fidelity Approaches with Reduced Order Modelling and Digital Twin Methodologies for Space Payloads,” addresses advanced methodologies in the field of space engineering.
The research activity was carried out under the supervision of Prof. Marco Evangelos Biancolini and Dr. Marco Feroci, with coordination by Prof. Francesco Vivio.
Since 2021, Lombardi has been working at INAF Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica as a Thermo-Mechanical Engineer, contributing to research and technological development in the aerospace sector.
This accomplishment represents a significant milestone in his academic and professional career.
