The University community is invited to take note of the upcoming Metrology and Reverse Engineering Workshop, organized by Fusion for Energy (F4E), which will feature an online session on 5 December 2025. This initiative offers a significant opportunity for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to engage with current developments in precision measurement, geometric reconstruction, and advanced manufacturing methodologies.
The online session will be delivered by Prof. Marco Evangelos Biancolini, whose work has contributed to the evolution of metrology-driven modelling and reverse engineering techniques. His presentation will examine recent methodological advances, illustrate their application to complex engineering contexts, and foster discussion on the implications of these tools for research and industrial practice. The strong interest shown by both academic and professional communities underscores the increasing relevance of these topics for addressing contemporary challenges in high-technology sectors.
Participation is open to all interested individuals, and early registration is encouraged. In addition to the online programme, an in-person meeting will be held in Barcelona on 27–28 January 2026, providing a further forum for scholarly exchange, methodological reflection, and collaborative dialogue.
